DOWNLOAD THE GAME

Four steps: the client, the Darion launcher pointed at your client folder, open the game and your account.

  1. Download the client

    The The Chaotic Throne: Freya / High Five client, with no modifications. Extract the .zip into a folder with no accented characters, for example C:\Lineage2.

    Shortcut: the full Darion client already has the game and Darion together, so there is nothing to install in step 2 — just extract it into a folder without accents. Download the launcher anyway: it is what brings the weekly updates and starts the game.

  2. Install Darion with the launcher

    DOWNLOAD THE LAUNCHER
    1. Download Lineage2Launcher.exe and save it anywhere (Downloads, desktop, it doesn't matter).
    2. Open the launcher and click Install.
    3. When it asks for a folder, pick the client folder — the one that contains system, for example C:\Lineage2. The launcher does the rest.

    Pick the client folder, NOT the system folder. If you point it inside system, the game won't start.

  3. Open the game from the launcher

    Every time you play, open Lineage2Launcher.exe and click Play. It updates whatever is needed and starts the game. Make a desktop shortcut to it.

  4. Your account

    The game account and the site account are the same one: create it on create account and use that login in the client. It is also what opens donations, voting and support.
